Stainless Steel Sheets

Stainless Steel Sheets are flat, thin pieces of stainless steel that are widely used in various applications due to their strength, durability, and aesthetic appeal.

STAINLESS STEEL SHEETS:

A Stainless Steel Sheet is a type of Sheet metal made from an Alloy of Steel and Chromium. They are normally classified into Hot and Cold Rolled Type, mainly including 200, 300, 400 series Alloys. They are produced through processes like Hot Rolling or Cold Rolling, where Stainless Steel ingots or billets are shaped into flat sheets.

These Sheets may undergo further treatments such as annealing (heat treatment) to improve mechanical properties or surface finishing to achieve specific aesthetic or functional characteristics.

200 Series has low Nickel, 300 series contains Chromium and Nickel as their major Alloying additions whereas 400 series is formed by Ferritic and Martensitic Stainless Steel.

CHARACTERISTICS OF STAINLESS STEEL SHEETS

High Strength

Stainless Steel Sheets has good mechanical properties, with tensile Strength and impact resistance

Corrosion Resistance

Stainless Steel Sheets contain at least 10.5% chromium, making it less prone to rust or chemical attack in humid, high temperature and corrosive environments.

Sanitation

The Surface of the Stainless Steel Sheet is smoth without micropores or cracks, so it is not easy to breed bacteria or dirt

Recyclability

Stainless Steel Sheet is a recyclable material. Once it is no longer used, it can be recycled and reused, which reduces the problem of resources waste.
